Egnater Renegade 2×12 Tube Combo Amp

A scorching hot summer day. Work ends and the party begins. I head down to the local Guitar Center with one of my musician buddies. I am telling him on our way down about some research I have been doing on budget tube amps and one that I especially wanted to try.

We walk through the front door and low and behold the first thing I see is a prepared Egnater Renegade. I walk over in a fog of excitement and the shredder who was occupying this beauty and I get to talking. He tells me about how much he enjoys the amp and some of his favorite features.

He plays for a little longer and gestures that it is my turn as he walks away to a different room. I grab an axe and get to work. The tone that my new friend got from the amp was pretty good, so I start playing making adjustments as I go. The first thing I notice is the ability of the amp to give every note the spotlight, from the low to high E.
