Not only is this a great bass guitar for people on a budget, it’s also a killer bass if you are just getting started with the instrument.
When you are just starting out, you don’t need the most expensive P-Bass—because although those are very nice, what you really need is a bass that plays great so you can learn and improve. That’s what this bass gives you.
Here are a few features that make this a standout:
- Maple Neck for smooth playing
- Unique “Dean Design” neck joint and heal that give you incredible access to all 22 frets
- Single soap bar pickup
- Mahogany body on satin finishes; basswood body on painted finishes
All that makes for a great beginners package, or an extra bass, or an instrument for rockstars on a budget.
The only place this bass loses points is this—it’s not an instrument for large gigs. Even through a really good, high quality amp, you will have trouble filling a large venue with sound.
